If you are a low income individual who is currently facing issues with the IRS, you can seek help from a Low Income Taxpayer Clinic. Low Income Taxpayer Clinics (LITCs) provide free legal assistance to taxpayers who cannot afford legal services or representation with their tax issues. They can help you with several tax matters including collections, audits, appeals, and even tax litigation. There are several clinics assigned to each state, all of which have other languages in addition to English.

The list below contains Low Income Tax Payer Clinics receiving federal funding for 2019. Take note that LTICs only take cases of individuals who fit their criteria. You may read the Eligibility Guidelines to check if you qualify.
