IRS Collections Resumes as of October 1, 2020

The IRS halting collection enforcement activity during the Coronavirus pandemic originally until July 15, 2020. That was extended until October 1, 2020. For many people not in a good financial position due to Coronavirus, it’s a good opportunity to file for an Offer In Compromise or Currently Not Collectible status.
